Abstract

The existence of satua, which in this case is a local Balinese tale, has become one of the literary cultural identities using Balinese in its role as Mother tongue. One of the activities of literacy development in an effort to increase reading interest among the younger generation, children in particular is through reading stories or storytelling. Storytelling activities can be an alternative to revive the speech culture that is inherent in Indonesian culture. One as an intellectual heritage is expected to be always friendly with technological advancements. Innovations that marry one another with the digital era need to be done. One in its role as a medium for character education, generally contains life values that evoke the power of imagination so that it can develop children's creativity and intelligence
